Introduction

ACTIVE CITIZENS-YOUTH BHAKTAPUR (ACYB) is a group of determined active youth of Bhaktapur.
ACYB was formed by the active youths who were enrolled in “ACTIVE CITIZENS TRAINING” phase 2 held on Sept 1st to Sept 12th 2010 at hotel “Top n Town”, sallaghari organized by British Council and supported by AYON and Nodan Club Bhaktapur with is main theme “Think Globally Act Locally”.
ACYB had actively participated as organizer committee in two health camp soon after its formation.
Firstly entitled “Free Women and General Health Camp” in 22nd March 2011 in collaboration with Community Youth Circle, ghatkha-13, bhaktapur at Devi Higher Secondary School, saudol-7, tathali, bhaktapur, supported by Devi higher Secondary School and Devi Cooperative Ltd, saudol-7,tathali, bhaktapur. The programme was technically supported by Siddhi Memorial Hospital.
Secondly entitled “Free Health Camp” in 23rd April 2011 in collaboration with Syuchatar Credit and Co-operative Pvt.Ltd, Syuchatar-2, Kathmandu at Amar jyoti Secondary School, kalanki, supported by Amarjyoti Secondary School. The programme was technically supported by Yeti Research and Hospital Pvt.Ltd.
ACYB also supported the training programme entitled “ HIV/AIDS and Basic Sexual Health Training” organized by Youth Red Cross Circle-12, lakolachhen, bhaktapur and “YUVA SAWAL” a radio programme of Bhaktapur FM 105.4 Mhz as media partner. The programme was technically supported by Nepal Red Cross Society, bhaktapur district chapter, dudhpati-17.
